A lot of bad comments can be heard from the fans during this show, because of how drugged he sounds and how bad he looks. This show makes College Park '74 look like the Aloha show in comparison.)

Seeing as how muffled the soundboard is, I prefer this audience recording instead.) (This show is terrible. E has taken way too many downers for his ankle and he is slurring so badly. He does sing Softly As I Leave you for the last time with a different arrangement. Speaking so unclearly, Softly is very sad to hear. This was the only show from this season RCA recorded for release. It never happened though. This is supposedly the night that Elvis writes a note that is later found by a cleaner in the waste paper basket of his penthouse bedroom in which he reveals some of his mental anguish.)

The Colonel is rumored to have lost over $1 million at the roulette table, backed up by his uncharacteristically grim demeanor. The show is very good, however with E gearing up to leave Vegas for good.)

In response, Elvis declares, "I’m not going to get up here and try to sing, because these damn microphones are [so] cheap. I ain’t gonna do it, you know. ‘Cause this is my living, folks, my life." A lot of salty language in this show as well, as E calls Charlie a fag and a son of a bitch during Are You Lonesome Tonight. Other highlights are Jailhouse Rock, Blue Christmas, and Reconsider Baby.)

Vegas Vol 15 (2 CD) (Very Good Audience Recording) (Good show with a lot of dialogue. Highlights are Hurt,Such A Night, Sweet Caroline, Softly, As I Leave You(for the last time), That's All Right,Bridge Over Troubled Water, and My Way. After the show, televangelist Rex Humbard visits with Elvis backstage. Elvis demands of him whether or not he should give up singing and devote himself to the Lord. He is at ease momentarily when Humbard assures him that he is doing the Lord’s work by bringing joy to so many people.)

12-27-76 Live In Wichita, KS (poor quality) (Great show, except the quality is unlistenable. E sings the 1st live version of Unchained Melody. Other highlights are Hurt (with reprise) and How Great Thou Art.)

12-28-76 Hot Winters Night In Dallas (Soundboard Recording) (My father attended this amazing show. Definitely in his top 10 best concerts of the 70’s. I can’t recall any other show where he is in a better mood. Vocals are amazing!! any live fan of Elvis in the 70's should have this disc!!)

12-29-76 Burning In Birminham/ F1rst Time In Birmingham (Soundboard Recording) (This is a fantastic show!!For the last time, E sings For The Good Times and First Time Ever I Saw Your Face. Also sings an acapella style Love Letters with David Briggs only and an incredible Unchained Melody. During that song, the crowd and ushers are at a complete stand-still.
