Tony Brown stated that this was his favorite show E gave. Highlights are If You Love Me, Help Me, Jailhouse Rock, Happy Birthday (to Bruce Jackson), and Hurt (with reprise). There's a funny part right after E sings Bruce happy birthday, in that when he gets feedback he says "Bruce, I don't care if it is your birthday, you dont fix the sound, I'll make you eat this microphone.)

06-04-76 E.S. Atlanta (Bad Audience Recording) (Very down show. No energy or enthusiasm. Highlights are Help Me, Burning Love, and Little Darlin`.)

06-05-76 One Night At The Omni (Very Good Audience Recording) (This is a great quality audience recording, but E has changed for the worse than just 3 days before. NC) (Soundboard Recording) (CD includes warmup acts from 10/16/76 - Why don't we have that show? - This excellent sndbd recording shows E in strong voice and a great mood. E is presented a cake which puts him in a better mood, he does, however complain about the sound on a few occasions.)

07-01-76 Live In Shreveport, LA (2 CD)(Excellent Audience Recording) (My father attended this show and recorded this cd. Since I put it on the internet, it has surfaced as 2 different imports now, but this is the master recording taken directly from the original audio tape source. 07-24-76 E.S. Hurt / Charleston Rocks (Soundboard Recording)/ Fire of The King – Fever For the Fans (CD 2) (Average Show. Don’t be confused by Hurt’s date on the front Cover, which differs from the back cover, which differs from the inside cover, which differs from the cd, which are all wrong, as this is the same show without the bonus tracks. This soundboard recording has a very muffled sound. You can see this show on the vcd Rockin’ The Nation Vol. 3)

07-26-76 Holding Court In Rochester (Poor Quality) (Highlights of this show are You Gave Me A Mountain, All shook Up, Jailhouse Rock, Hurt, and Funny How Time Slips Away. This show can be seen on the vcd Rockin’ The Nation Vol. 5)

07-28-76 Wear your Blue Jeans (Very Good Audience Recording)/ Across The Country Vol. 1 (Soundboard Recording) (The material is enjoyable and rare, but this has to be one of the worst sounding soundboard recordings ever. A lot of hiss and very flat sounding.) (This show was so bad that After the show the Colonel confronted Elvis about his bad performance. Highlights are If You Love Me, And I Love You So, Fever, Happy Birthday, Hawaiian Wedding Song, and Funny How Time Slips Away.)

08-05-76 Fayetteville Flowers/ Fayetteville (Good Audience Recording) (Elvis became paranoid before this show about his lack of private funds. He became despondant that his life had become a disaster. He seems very depressed throughout this show.)

08-27-76 San Antonio (Good Audience Recording) (1st day of tour and Elvis fired Dr. Nick. Unfortunately it shows. Reviews have always stated that the next night in Houston was by far his worst show ever. I can' even imagine how bad that show is, after hearing this debacle. Elvis can't even get through a simple sentence without stopping because he forgot what he was talking about. A lot of bad comments can be heard from the fans during this show, because of how drugged he sounds and how bad he looks. This show makes College Park '74 look like the Aloha show in comparison.)

08-29-76 A.S. Stuck Inside Of Mobile (Good Audience Recording) (Dr. Nick returns at the pleading of everybody to normalize things for this show to stay. Before the show Elvis is informed that Red and Sonny west with Dave Hebler have written a book about him. Highlights are Turn Aroud Look At Me (two lines only), America , and Hurt.)

08-30-76 E.S. Tuscaloosa Night (Good Audience Recording) / One Night In Alabama /

Old Times They Are Not Forgotten (Soundboard Recording) (Much better show than the last 3 nights. Quality of this soundboard is fantastic, and the show is entertaining. Highlights are Love Letters, Fever, My Heavenly Father (by Kathy Westmoreland), and Mystery Train-Tiger Man.)

08-31-76 Southbound (Macon, GA) (Soundboard Recording)/ Forever In Concert Vol. 5 (Soundboard Recording) (This is a great sounding cd, but the show is very boring. The real highlight of the cd is a Soundboard recording of the 1st live version of Hurt from 3/76. I just wish it was that show released instead.)

09-01-76 E.S. Jacksonville (Good Audience Recording) (Highlights are Love Me, All Shook

Up, Jailhouse Rock, Love Me Tender, and Polk Salad Annie.)

09-02-76 Live In Tampa (Bad Audience Recording)/ Forever In Concert Vol. 2 Disc 4 (Bad Audience Recording) (the show was cut short after the band intros. This was supposedly done by Elvis as he was disappointed with the less than enthusiastic response he was getting from what turned out to be a predomininantly older audience.)

09-03-76 Rockin' St. Petersburg (Excellent Audience Recording) (Highlights are If You Love Me, America , Hurt, and Mystery Train - Tiger Man.)

09-04-76 A.S. An Afternoon In Lakeland (Bad Audience Recording) (Highlights are If You Love Me, Jailhouse Rock, America, and Funny How Time Slips Away.)

Allright Mama and Tigerman, otherwise, a really uninspired show.)

09-07-76 Arkansas Assembly Pine Bluff (Bad Audience Recording) (The 'Memphis Press

Scimitar' ran a story titled: 'Fat and Forty' about Elvis, which enraged him right before this show. Highlights are America (with reprise), Polk Salad Annie, and Why Me Lord.)

09-08-76 Pine Bluff (2 CDS) (Bad Audience Recording) (Interesting show. E sings about 35 songs to a small crowd of about 7200. Highlights are One Night, America, Polk Salad Annie, Hurt (with reprise), Why Me Lord, That`s All Right, and Blue Suede Shoes.)

10-14-76 Chicago Beat (Soundboard Recording) (Very Good show. E is thinner than he has been since Aloha. This video is seen on the vcd Rockin’ Chicago and Touring The Nation.)

10-15-76 Bringing The House Down (Chicago) (Soundboard Recording) (Good Show. E sings a great Steamroller Blues, Blue Christmas, and Hurt. This show is seen on the vcd Rockin Chicago.)

10-23-76 Fairy Tales (Richfield, OH) (Good Audience Recording) (Great Show. Odd dialogue. Elvis jokes "It's funny when you're an old man and they still want you to turn around". Funny thing about this import, is the title is Fairy Tales, yet when E sings Fairytale, he gets through about 1 verse and forgets it, thus calling off the song all together. This show can be seen on the vcd's The King On Stage Vol. 1and 70's Montage.)

10-23-76 E.S. Royal Gambit In Richfield (Excellent Audience Recording)

10-24-76 Knocking Them Out In Evansville (Bad Audience Recording) (Good show. Highlights are Love Me, Help Me, All Shook Up, Jailhouse Rock, Polk Salad Annie, and Blue Christmas.)

11-28-76 America The Beautiful (San Francisco) (Soundboard Recording) (Elvis invites Ginger to join him on his tour, but when she gets to San Francisco, she doesn’t see him because Linda Thompson is still there. The real highlight of the first part of show is "It's Now Or Never"and he blows his voice out at the end of Hurt.)

11-29-76 The Nations Only Atomic Powered Singer (San Francisco, CA) (Good Audience Recording) (Very good show. E and the crowd are in a great, funny mood. Linda finally did leave and it turned out to be the last time they ever saw each other, as Ginger took her spot that night.)

11-30-76 Adios California (Good Audience Recording)/ Earthquake In Anaheim (Very Good Audience Recording) (Good show. Highlights are Jailhouse Rock, It`s Now Or Never, Bridge Over Troubled Water, Hawaiian Wedding Song, Blue Christmas, and That`s All Right. You can see this show on the vcd Love Letters From Nevada.)

Las Vegas Vol 01 (2 CD) (Very Good Audience Recording)/ Special For You (2 CD)

12-04-76 D.S. Love Letters From Nevada (Very Good Audience Recording)/ Winter Season In Las Vegas Vol. 4 (Good Audience Recording) (Excellent show. Roy Orbison is in attendance. E sings Bridge… and a spoken version of What Now My Love. This show can be seen on the vcd Love Letters From Nevada.)

12-04-76 M.S. Christmas In The Desert (Excellent Audience Recording)/ After All The Years (Good Audience Recording) (This cd is incorrectly dated as it is really the 12/4/76 midnight show. Don’t be fooled!) (Excellent show!! This show is even better than Love Letters. During this show, Elvis sings a requested version of Lawdy Miss Clawdy which is great but he only sings the first verse 4 or 5 times, and then a really good requested Trying To Get To You. This show is much better than Love Letters, with the exception that E ends the show with 2 Sherrill Neilson songs amd Can’t Help Falling In Love.)

12-05-76 D.S. Elvis In Free Fall (Excellent Audience Recording) (E is over an hour late for this show. According to Guralnik, E may have O.D’d on this evening which is what led to E falling and badly hurting his ankle. The show isn’t bad, though. The midnight performance is cancelled. Elvis does the majority of this show while seated and introduces Lisa Marie.)

12-05-76 D.S. Winter Season In Las Vegas Vol. 6 (2 CD) (Very Good Audience

Recording) / Presley At The Hilton (Excellent Audience Recording) (-same show as above

Right before this show started, Charlie Hodge has to apologize for Elvis' lateness due to him falling in the bathroom and hurting his ankle. Elvis sits on a chair for most of this show, but still pulls off a surprisingly good show. Not too medicated, unlike 2 days later. Highlights include Sweet caroline and How Great Thou Art.)

12-06-76 D.S. Once Upon A Time At The Hilton (Very Good Audience Recording)

12-06-76 D.S. Now Vol. 1 (Good Audience Recording)/ Winter Season In Las Vegas Vol. 7 (2 CD) (Very Good Audience Recording) (E does most of the show seated. Highlights include Tip Toe To The Tulips (excerpt only), Blue Christmas, Are You Lonesome Tonight, O Sole Mio - It`s Now Or Never, and Help Me Make It Through The Night.)

12-07-76 Run On (Soundboard Recording)/ Forever In Concert Vol. 4 (Soundboard Recording)/Live In Las Vegas (2 CD) (Very Good Audience Recording) (This is the complete show in an audience recording. Seeing as how muffled the soundboard is, I prefer this audience recording instead.) (This show is terrible. E has taken way too many downers for his ankle and he is slurring so badly. He does sing Softly As I Leave you for the last time with a different arrangement. Speaking so unclearly, Softly is very sad to hear. This was the only show from this season RCA recorded for release. It never happened though. This is supposedly the night that Elvis writes a note that is later found by a cleaner in the waste paper basket of his penthouse bedroom in which he reveals some of his mental anguish.)

12-08-76 D.S. Tornado From Vegas (Good Audience Recording) (Very good show compared to the night before. Sings a good, but rare Bridge over troubled water, and a great How Great Thou Art.)

12-08-76 7,500 Miles From Home (2 CD) (Good Audience Recording)

12-09-76 D.S. Winter Season In Las Vegas Vol 10 (2 CD) (Very Good Audience Recording) (Highlights are My Way, That`s all Right, Help Me, and Hawaiian Wedding Song.)

12-09-76 D.S. Trouble In Vegas (Very Good Audience Recording)

12-09-76 M.S. The Concert Years Vol. 68 (2 CD) (Vernon is admitted to the Sunrise Hospital for what appears to be another heart attack, but turns out to be just a scare. The Colonel is rumored to have lost over $1 million at the roulette table, backed up by his uncharacteristically grim demeanor. The show is very good, however with E gearing up to leave Vegas for good.)

12-10-76 D.S. Farewell From Vegas (Good Audience Recording) / Winter Season In Las Vegas Vol. 11 (2 CD) (Very Good Audience Recording) (This is a good show. Higlights include a kind-of medley of That's all right/ softly as I leave you, Steamroller Blues, and Hawaiian Wedding Song.)

12-10-76 M.S. The Concert Years Vol. 28 (2 CD)(Good Audience Recording) / Winter Season In Las Vegas Vol 12 (2 CD) (Very Good Audience Recording) (Elvis casually announces, "I hate Las Vegas." He is cheered by the crowd. After the next song, he picks up the microphone and asks the audience, "Does anyone want this tiny sonofabitch?" The audience also cheers this. In response, Elvis declares, "I’m not going to get up here and try to sing, because these damn microphones are [so] cheap. I ain’t gonna do it, you know. ‘Cause this is my living, folks, my life." Other highlights are O Sole Mio - It`s Now Or Never, Polk Salad Annie, Hawaiian Wedding Song.)

12-11-76 M.S. Live at the Hilton (Excellent Audience Recording)/ Benihana Village (Good Audience Recording) / Winter Season In Las Vegas Vol. 14 (2CD) (Very Good Audience Recording)/ God Calls Me Home (Very good show. E sings God Calls Me Home for the only time, and during the intros says "Thank God, only one more night. A lot of salty language in this show as well, as E calls Charlie a fag and a son of a bitch during Are You Lonesome Tonight. Other highlights are Jailhouse Rock, Blue Christmas, and Reconsider Baby.)

12-28-76 Hot Winters Night In Dallas (Soundboard Recording) (My father attended this amazing show. Definitely in his top 10 best concerts of the 70’s. I can’t recall any other show where he is in a better mood. Vocals are amazing!! any live fan of Elvis in the 70's should have this disc!!)

12-29-76 Burning In Birminham/ F1rst Time In Birmingham (Soundboard Recording) (This is a fantastic show!!For the last time, E sings For The Good Times and First Time Ever I Saw Your Face.
