The Soundboard Films Vol. 1 - Southbound DVD and CD Set

A real treat has arrived for Elvis fans in this newly edited complete concert from August 31, 1976. For years, we had 30 mins. from a close source, but the colors were so washed out and faded that it was almost unbearable to watch. Newly uncovered, the original betamax tape that the original films were transferred to gives us a great quality film of the show for us to view, that actually allows us to see E's face clearly. If that wasn't good enough, the original beta contained four 3 minute reels that had not existed in circulation before showing the first 12 minutes of the concert. Now on top of that, there is an additional 15 minutes shot from the front row (as seen on the Front Row Films) from the same show, and for the first time ever, both sources of footage has been pulled together and synched perfectly with the soundboard recording for the ultimate Macon, GA '76 experience. The cd of the show is included free of charge with the dvd. Bonus features on this dvd include the 4 songs recorded on soundboard from the 3-17-76 Johnson City, TN concert including Trying To Get To You and the first ever live version of HURT.

The Soundboard Films Vol. 2 - A New Kind of Rhythm!

Vol. 2 of this exciting series has now arrived, and it delivers!! We get to see about 46 minutes of this unbelievably energized 1 hour-long show shot and brought to us by two lucky fans who were in attendance. Set and perfectly synched to the soundboard recording "A New Kind of Rhythm" remixed to stereo, not Binaural, this set also includes the audio cd free for your enjoyment.

Elvis The 30th Anniversary Concert (8-16-2007)

This dvd covers the amazing event that was the 30th Anniversary Tribute Concert. Also included is the special added midnight show "Midnight In Vegas." Neither concert is fully complete, but with a total running time of over 2 hours, this is the perfect dvd for capturing the events of that night. Dvd is fan shot, and includes over 6 different camera angles.

The Bright Lights of STAR

This is a best of from the greatest import label of our time. Every clip is a winner here.

Bound For Glory

Another Papabear gem, this release has the absolute best quality of the Macon 8-31-76 show. This footage has always been available only showing Elvis' outline, not being able to see his face. Here it can finally be seen. Also, there is Lakeland, FL and Pine Bluff, AR footage.

Celebrating a King - Extended Edition

CELEBRATING A KING EXTENDED EDITION - ELVIS - DVD FEATURED - ELVIS Duet with LISA MARIE singing DON'T CRY DADDY. BONUS EXTRAS: - ELVIS IN VEGAS Singing TIGER MAN, THE WONDER OF YOU, IN THE GHETTO, HOW GREAT THOU ART (LIVE IN 1977) and others.

Elvis Memories

This was a fantastic 1986 special hosted by George Klein, this show was very revolutionary for the Elvis fans who caught it at the time. It includes some September 1974 footage not seen on any other release of Elvis in the Chinese Dragon suit doing a Karate routine with Charlie. Also includes interviews from many stars.

EOT Outtakes (Aloha Productions)

A 2 disc set of the probably the very best quality of the outtakes.

Houston '71

by Roddy productions, a great documentation of the 1971 Houston show with the real audio.

I Don't Sing Like Nobody - Cut Me and I Bleed

2 fantastic documentaries from the BBC about the King.

On Tour in Hampton Roads and Greenboro (Multiscreen)

A fantastic collaboration of all available footage from these wonderful 1972 shows, and even better, all angles are available on this disc! Thats up to 6 different camera angles at one time! Very enjoyable.

The King On Tour 1970 - 1971 (PapaBear Productions)

This release was the first joint venture of PapaBear and EWJ. Wonderful quality, great editing, and fantastic sound makes this a must have!

The Memphis Pyramid Tribute Concert

This great tribute show has never been released and only a couple of songs appeared on the 1994 Elvis tribute cd. A fun watch.

Elvis Sings Complete Songs Vol. 3

Another gem from ED Productions, this has footage and complete songs from 1970 - 1977.

JD Sumner - The Final Concert

This fan-shot dvd shows JD Sumner at his very last performance before his death.

NOW Vol. 8

A wonderful compilation.

NOW Vol. 9

A wonderful compilation.

On Stage February 1970 and More!!!

As seen on youtube, ED Productions gives us a full February 1970 concert using edited footage. Very entertaining.

Sin City Fever 2008 Edition

When PapaBear previously issued this set, the 1st dvd showcasing the '74 Summer Festival was missing far too many performances (that PapaBear himself had released in the past) so this upgrade gives both Summer Festivals their fair treatment as all available footage (including 2 shows of newly discovered footage) is now on this set, and all previous footage's quality remains in tact...

WHY ME LORD? - THE BEST OF JD SUMNER VOL. 2

The Front Row Films Remastered - 7 DVD Set

This amazing set finally answers the calling of all the Elvis fans who wanted to see the rare films, but up close so he could be clearly seen, and not look like the "ghost" of Elvis, as it is referred to on many fan sites. This set features footage from over 110 different concerts given by Elvis from his first performances from 1954 all through to his last performance in 1977. Also, for the first time, each and every video has been speed-corrected and also has the correct audio perfectly synched for each video. To make things even better for the viewer, each dvd has an interactive menu, and song chapter selections on each and every show. This is, without a doubt, the greatest set of rare unofficial Elvis films ever released together and will replace all other sets when it comes to casual watching. This set should please all fans. Here is a link to the content on the dvd, and it shows a few seconds of every show on the set.

"Pieces Of My Life" - The Ultimate Live Anthology 3 DVD Set

For years, Elvis fans have wanted a release of the greatest and most rare complete Elvis songs on one dvd that are not the same recycled Aloha and '68 special performances. As great as those are, the true fans wanted different versions and wanted to see the different suits, complete songs, ect. In EID's finest hour, answers the calling of the many. In this epic dvd set, the fans get to see virtually every song Elvis played live from 1969 - 1977, ranging from Elvis' first Vegas engagement up to Elvis' last performance. On top of that, all songs here are complete. To make things even better, none of the footage here has ever been officially released, and has only circulated on the imports market, in inferior sound and quality. As a special note, for the very first time ever on any release, the LAST performance of UNCHAINED MELODY from Cincinnati, OH June 25, 1977 is shown here in its entirety from 2 camera angles including one from the first row! The 3 dvd set consists of "Elvis with the guitar," "Show Starters", "Oldies", "Showstoppers" and "Elvis At The Piano." In the bonus section of the dvd, you can also watch the wonderful 8mm film from Chicago 6/17/72 and the 1st 3 songs from the 1st MSG show with the soundboard. All dvds have interactive menus and song selection modes, and are in Dolby 2.0! Some Elvis dealers would charge you close to $100 for this set, I am offering it at $35.00!

ELVIS - THE LAST FAREWELL - THE "REAL" FINAL PERFORMANCE DVD

For years, Elvis fans have wanted a release of Elvis' final performance given in Indianapolis, IN on June 26, 1977. For a while, we have had a dvd called "The Final Performance" which included about 12 minutes of footage from the last show (in terrible quality) and the rest of the footage making up the 60 minute production was taken from Chicago and other various May 77 shows. For the first time ever, We now have the complete final performance edited together from 7 alternate angles from the show (with an exception of It's Now or Never, it wasnt recorded from any angle, so other footage was placed here) and to make things even better, the sound has been perfectly synched to the origianl master audio source recorded in stereo from the audience, making this a fantastic live experience and the perfect time capsule to this wonderful performance. Songs included are:

The Twelfth of Never (1994 David Briggs Overdub)
This song is set to the footage of Elvis landing in Indianapolis and accepting awards for the Moody Blue album. Elvis also takes time to pose for pictures with an RCA executive, while the Col. and the Memphis Mafia stand by.

ELVIS - The Final Tour (Newly Discovered Footage!!!!!!)
This dvd, while not in the greatest of quality, is finally now available to all! Before the footage gets out elsewhere and becomes mis-dated or wrongfully edited, this dvd captures the footage of Elvis' Last tour we've always been wanting! To start, we have the same Kansas City and Madison footage we all know well, aand honestly the quality is far inferior to that of previous releases. But then the really special part begins. We get to see Elvis' final version of My Way and Unchained Melody shot from the FRONT ROW in Cincinatti, June 25, 1977. I have never seen any of this footage in my life and was blown away by seeing video where I'd only seen photos before. Then, we are treated to some more NEWLY RELEASED footage of Elvis' Final Concert from Indianapolis with dubbed sound, but I assure this footage has never been on any dvd release in the past. After about 15 minutes of Indianapolis, we cut back briefly to the FRONT ROW in Cincinatti, then to another camera angle un unseen footage from Indianapolis from about 5 rows back. We saw a snippit of this footage on the King Video release "The Final Performance" (you know, the one that is 15 minutes of Indianapolis and 35 minutes of Chicago) and hee we get to see even more. Now it cuts back to the beginning of Cincinatti and we see See See Rider. This footage continues for about another 10 minutes. Then we cut to the original source of footage that we saw on the internet all those years ago. This is the footage that is more blurry shot from the balcony (it shows up in the Final Performance dvd a few times) except here it looks more like a film of the concert rather than Elvis' ghost floating around. This footage runs for 21 minutes with original sound. While it still isnt the most beautiful quality we have seen, this is by far the best and most complete account of the footage actually taken. I guarantee a future release of Cincinatti highlights and finally a legitimate Final Concert dvd of only real Indianpolis footage. This dvd is a must!

ELVIS - Rare Clips Vol. 1
from ED Productions, this is a compilation of just that, Rare Clips.

ELVIS - Rare Clips Vol. 2
from ED Productions, this is a compilation of just that, Rare Clips. Includes rare 8mm film including Nashville '73 and Spring '75. Also includes rare news clips like the Geraldo special from 8-16-77 and other rare news clips from that day as well. Also includes a special section for Charlie Hodge and JD Sumner footage.

ELVIS - Rare Clips Vol. 3
from ED Productions, this is a compilation of just that, Rare Clips.

ELVIS - Once Upon A Time In The 70's (ED Productions)
ED Productions picks up where EID left off, and doesn't dissapoint. To start, we have a brand new version of Once Upon A Time In 1971, all footage where the "window-blinds" look was present is now gone, with superior quality footage in its place. As a bonus, we get to see other great '71 live footage that has been released since the first version was made. Also gone are the extremely far away shots of E in the Black suit, and replaced with better footage. Afterwards we get all of the Houston '71 footage synched, the the Dallas footage properly synched, and then we are treated to 3 minutes of October 6, 1974 ES footage all synched to the correct soundboard. While the quality isnt the best on this footage, it is very nice to see it with the correct sound. Then we get Steamroller and You can Have Her synched properly from 5/11/74 AS Los Angeles. Next we have E's opening show from 8/18/75 synched to soundboard. The remainder of the dvd is a compilation of great clips all sychned. A Very entertaining DVD to have.

Coming Later This Week.....
STAR's "The Fantasy Concert"
.

Elvis - The Private Tapes Vol. 2

This is a very good dvd to have based on the master footage from Cleveland 75. Yes, it does have all of the footage shot from the side of the stage of the NYE 76 show which snippets appear on several dvds (This is the shot that is very blurry the whole time), but the true highlight is the Cleveland 7/18/75 footage shot from the side of the stage as this is from the master tapes, not a vcd to dvd transfer, which was our only alternative in the past. Very enjoyable.

Blue Gypsy (2007 Edition)
Finally this suit and time period can be given its all, so to say. To begin, it features the classic "Blue Gypsy" that was put out by FTF years ago, with soundboard dubbed sound. Then, as a bonus, We get all 8mm footage available of E in the Blue Gypsy Outfit. Footage includes:

"Blue Gypsy" - Cleveland, OH 7/18/75 (28 Minutes)
Alt. camera of Cleveland, angle shot by Bob Heis (6 Mins)
"America's Own 2" - Uniondale, NY (3 Mins)
Alt. Camera angle for Uniondale, NY (2 Mins)
"Las Vegas Gypsy Style" - The Opening night performance remastered with great audio and video. (40 Mins)
"Lovin' You" - The 8/19/75 Dinner Show (23 Mins)
and finally...
The footage from the Blue Gypsy is featured here in its original great quality, with ZERO pixelization or soundboard overdubs either. This footage is simply beatuful and should be in the hands of all collectors. (27 Minutes)

Total Running Time: 2 Hours and 10 Minutes.

One Night At The Omni - The Complete June 5th, 1976 Performance in Dolby Digital 2.0

I always figured all 3 6/76 Atlanta shows were just terrible, but the 6/5 show was very enjoyable. This is the show where he claims to be Jimmy Carters long lost brother at the first. Anyways, even though he doesn't move like the old days, he sings very clearly and not slurred like the day before or after. Camera angles come from 3 different filmers in the building and contain each and every song he sung at this show. As A Bonus, the "footage in the raw" has been added (the footage with no editing or remastering).

Running Time: 2 Hours 11 Minutes

The Platinum Live Collection - Bicentennial '76
This great dvd, coming from the wonderful label Dragonheart Productions, who have also brought us such gems as Bicentennial Vol. 1, 2, and At The Garden comes this fantastic selection that gives 2 great shows (Chicago and Macon) and for the first time ever, both concerts can be seen/heard in in Dolby 2.0 or Dolby 5.1 from the menu selection. These shows are heard on the import cds Chicago Beat and Southbound.

Elvis - The Cover Up (DVD and CD)
This dvd/cd set covers the Geraldo 1979 expose into the cover up of E's death. Geraldo confronts the medical examiners official explanation and also interviews several guests on the subject. The cd contains excerpts from the special itself, and also some very rare live tracks from 1977 that have been remastered from audience recordings and soundboard.

The Elvis I Knew
This dvd is a special release that should find its way to all E fans' collection. Charlie Hodge shares his memories of the King.

The September 1976 Tour - Getting The Florida Keys

This is a great dvd release containing footage that does not exist on any other dvds out right now, making this a MUST-HAVE! This is a very interesting time for Elvis, as his massive weight loss that was seen more clearly in October 76 was already starting to take place, giving us a brief glimpse as to what these beautiful Bicentennial suits would have looked on a much leaner and healthier Elvis, and as a result, these shows are far better than the other Summer Tours of this year. This dvd shows Elvis in both the White and Blue Bicentennial Suits, and the footage has been edited into a concert-like performance, as opposed to bits and pieces here and there. The dates contained in this DVD are: 9/2/76 (Tampa, FL), 9/3/76 (St. Petersburgh, FL), 9/4/76 (Lakeland, FL - Afternoon and Evening Shows), 9/5/76 (Jackson, MS), 9/6/76 (Huntsville, AL - Afternoon and Evening Shows), 9/7/76 (Pine Bluff, AR), and 9/8/76 (Pine Bluff, AR). As a bonus, we have newly synched footage of Lubbock, TX 11/72, Dallas 11/71, and Las Vegas 8/72.

Running Time: 60 Minutes

The Entertainer

This is another dvd release in its own class. To be honest, the quality is not that great, but it is, however, the content that amazes on this one, as it is almost all unseen rare film that is also synched up for our pleasure!! To start, we have footage from the January - February '72 engagement of E in the White porthole Suit with Red Cape and Red Lion Belt singing You Gave Me A Mountain, and this footage is filmed in Vegas from the side of the stage. Next, we have film from Wichita Falls, KS 1972 with E in a 2-pc White Suit shot from about the 3rd row. While E is wearing the same outfit seen in the Chicago 72 footage, but this is clearly a different night, different building, different footage! This footage did appear on the Ultimate Live Vol. 3 set, but now has matching sound. Next is some very rare footage from the 1973 Summer Festival showing Elvis in a white suit fairly close up. I assure you this is not the footage on the Rocking The Desert dvd... Next, we have some interesting footage from the Summer of 1974 shot from the balcony showing Elvis in the Dragon Suit lasting about 5 mins. We see Polk Salad and If you Talk In Your Sleep. Moving on, we now see footage of Elvis (again, from Summer '74) wearing the lighter version of the 2-pc. mermaid suit and once again, this is not the footage seen on Rocking The Desert. Next we have some fantastic rare Summer '74 footage shot from about the 5th row of E in the American Eagle suit in Las Vegas. This is extremely rare, as E only wore this suit in Vegas on a couple of occasions. Next is footage from either Kansas City '71 of E in the White suit and Red Lion belt/Cape.
Running Time: 43 Minutes

Elvis - The Return

Finally we have a dvd of Re-Hashed material that is worthy of getting! This is a companion to the Ultimate Live Vol. 1 set, where we are treated to 2 wonderful films from August 1969, 2 from January/February 1970, September 70 and January/ February 1971 films all synched to correct music for the first time. These films are a whole new experience when seen with the correct audio.
Running Time: 80 Minutes

Because It's A Bicentennial Year Vol. 2

This dvd is a great follow up to the 1st installment, this time showing a full edited performance of Elvis in the Blue Bicentennial Suit. The editing and audio are top notch on this release and deserves a slot on every collector's shelf.
Running Time: 37 Minutes

Elvis - Rocking On Stage

This dvd is certainly a treat for long-time collectors. The dvd starts with footage from the 3rd Johnson City, TN performance of 1976 showing E in the White V-Neck, Puffed Sleeves suit, and while the quality is not perfect, it is far superior to the awful quality we have seen for the last 20+ years. The sound is very clear, and Elvis' facial expressions can be made out clearly. However, that still isnt the reason that makes this dvd another Must-Have...As we all know, we've only seen clips equal to about 30 minutes of this show in terrible quality. For the first time, 3 different sources pulled together (same angle, varying quality) with original sound gives us 56 MINUTES of THIS RARE PERFORMANCE! This is not edited footage used to give the impression of a full concert, this is all from the original reels.

Running Time: 60 Minutes

In Person - 1977
Im pleasantly surprised to say a dvd of NEW '77 footage has surfaced! To start, all 4 shows taped here are all relatively from the same spot in the arena, about 7 rows back..meaning we get a great look at E in action! E wears the sundial suit in all of the shows, but you can see the difference in the buildings and the bands' outfits. Also, sound is from the original films, but is surprisingly very clear and all speech can be comprehended. All footage on this dvd is not found on any other releases found in my store, nor any other titles I'm aware of elsewhere. As A Bonus, we are treated to 10 minutes of Rare February 1973 Las Vegas Footage.
Running Time: 57 Minutes

From Cleveland To Niagra Falls

A fun release here. We begin with Cleveland 1974 with Elvis in the Peacock Suit. The sound is also synched correctly as well. Next is the footage from Niagra Falls 1974 with Elvis in the Inca Gold Leaf Suit, for the first time with matching sound is very good quality taken from the audience recording. Also, color has been restored to the picture making it much more watchable than on any previous releases. As a bonus, we get great footage from Baltimore November 9th, 1971 of E in the White SUit, Red Lion Belt/Cape with matching correct sound for the first time.
Running Time: 59 Minutes

The Bob Heis Footage Collection - 2 DVD Set
Now this set is the reason there are Elvis footage collectors out there. Bob Heis was one of Elvis personal photographers and as a result, was given many of front row sets with an occasional pass from the security to film Elvis up close during these performances. One drawback to the set is that except for the non-Heis bonus footage, all sound is dubbed instrumental tracks. However, the quality of the footage is well worth the missing sound, as these films look better than ever coming from the original sources. This is a MUST-HAVE for all footage collectors out there.

Collector's Gold Vol. 1 and 2
Fantastic set of great quality rare footage. A lot of this footage is NOT found on "The Complete" 8mm sets. It has been said from certain dealers through the years that these are the original sources of a lot of these films. Finally, you can decide for yourself at less than 1/3 the normal cost of these dvds.

Baltimore, MD November 9, 1971 (Very rare footage shot very close. Very nice.)
Las Vegas August 1972 (most of this footage has circulated many times over, however, there was some footage I had never seen before on here too.)
Lubbock, TX November 8, 1972 (This is beautiful quality footage compasred to what I'm used to for this footage. Very close up, and E's face is clearly seen here.)
Cleveland, OH June 21, 1974 (Excellent quality of this particular footage. Much better than any of the "supposed" remastered video files found all over the internet.)
Detroit, MI September 29th, 1974 (great footage showing E in the Dragon Suit.)
Huntsville June 1st, 1975 (Evening Show - amazing footage from the side of the stage up front, E is weraing the White Suit with the Black Phoenix. Just stunning!)

Collector's Gold Vol. 3 and 4
Fantastic set of great quality rare footage. A lot of this footage is NOT found on "The Complete" 8mm sets. It has been said from certain dealers through the years that these are the original sources of a lot of these films. Finally, you can decide for yourself at less than 1/3 the normal cost of these dvds.
Niagara Falls July 13th, 1975 (Afternoon Show - shows E in the Navy Blue Suit with the silver Phoenix. Shot from about 6-8 rows away from the stage.)
Pontiac, MI December 31st, 1975 (A different angle than we are used to, also much better quality than that on the usual vcds..)
Memphis, TN July 5th, 1976 (Great footage of E on his last Hometown concert.)
Rochester, NY July 26th, 1976 (This was on a vcd and the 76 set in awful quality. Here, there isnt pixelization problems and E's face is clearly seen here.)
South Bend, IN October 20, 1976 (Elvis is in the Flame Suit shot from the first row.)
Anaheim, CA November 30, 1976 (Fantastic 1st geration fan shot footage of E in the Memphis Indian Suit.)
Syracuse, NY July 27, 1976 (This footage is not found on the 76 films set...shot from about 10 rows back..Very good.)

To start we have about 45 minutes of very close up, and great quality footage from Macon, GA - heard on the import cd "Southbound". Next is some footage shot from behind the stage with E wearing the Blue Bicentennial suit. Not the most clear footage I have seen, however, it is footage that I have never seen and is not included on any film sets and it runs about 30 minutes. Next, we have even more unseen footage taken from about the 2nd or 3rd row, and E is wearing the Sundial Suit from 1977 in Macon, GA. This footage is mostly washed out in colors, but is still extremely rare, and has good original sound. Then we cut to footage of Elvis backstage after this show. We get to see Elvis, Joe, Ginger, and a few other members of the MM. Next we have wonderful front row footage of E in the Red Burning Love Suit from El Paso, TX 1972.
Running Time: 2 Hours

Elvis Rocks Atlanta 1975
This DVD from ED Productions gives us a near complete concert showing E in different 2-pc Suits from his 4 day stay in Atlanta. Very good editing and sound makes this a must-have!
Running Time: 42 Minutes

Because It's A Bicentennial Year Vol. 1
Here we have another highly entertaining, cleverly edited gem from ED Productions. We are given another complete concert with the audio from the Atlanta 76 cd and clips from several dates. A Very welcomed edition to any collectors collection.
Running Time: 63 Minutes

ELVIS STILL ROCKS with Bonus: The New Gladiators
Great footage from 7 different concerts, all digitally remastered for optimum quality and synched with their correct sources of audio (Soundboard and Audience Recording). The Kansas City 74 footage has never looked so good. To top it off, as a bonus we get to see the fan-shot version of Elvis' 1974 Karate movie which has only been shown to the public on 1 occasion, and the rest of us are very lucky to have even this footage to go off of. Along with some familiar karate scenes here, we also have a lot of unseen footage with narration including Elvis doing Karate with Kang Ree, and giving instructions to the class.
Running Time: 2 Hours 30 Minutes.

The King On Stage Collection - 5 DVD Set
For years this set has only been available as inferior vcd sets, not for the first time, the footage straight to dvd with no vcd transfer, it includes a lot of Bob Heis footage as well as a lot of other close up footage as well, with dubbed sound as opposed to the intrumental tracks on the other sets.
Running Time: Over 5 Hours

The Bob Heis Footage Collection - 2 DVD Set
Now this set is the reason there are Elvis footage collectors out there. Bob Heis was one of Elvis personal photographers and as a result, was given many of front row sets with an occasional pass from the security to film Elvis up close during these performances. One drawback to the set is that except for the non-Heis bonus footage, all sound is dubbed instrumental tracks. However, the quality of the footage is well worth the missing sound, as these films look better than ever coming from the original sources. This is a MUST-HAVE for all footage collectors out there.

Death By Excess
A shocking and tragic view of the final years of Elvis. Includes interviews from Dr. Nick and the medical examiners. As the dvd states, this is The Dark Side of The World's Brightest Star. Unlike most of the documentaries that cover this era (ie: E! True Hollywood Story, The Final Chapter, ect..) this dvd doesn't dwell on the obvious facts we all already know, but rather more in-depth to the inherited genetic heath issues, as well as his excessive mannerisms. As a bonus feature, the dvd contains the complete Larry King Live interview with Linda Thompson.

The Fans Concert
A very entertaining dvd made in the UK, contains over 30 songs and footage from 73 - 77

The afternoon show has footaege from 2 cameras in the audience put in proper order. This is the show that Elvis splits his pants during Polk Salad Annie and has to leave to change jumpsuits during the show.

The Complete 1976 8mm Films - THE DEFINATIVE EDITION - 4 DVD Set

For as long as Elvis import dvds have been circulating, the only good 1976 set to rely on for the best amount of footage was the crown series. Unfortunately, the set lacked a lot of footage that has since been released, and the footage that was there suffered from bad quality. This set can finally lay the crown set to rest and provide the absolute best quality of all films from 1976 ever released. Since these films presented on discs 1 - 3 are in their raw form, you may see footatge from the same show shot from a different part of the audience in their original audio. For instance, for the New Years Eve show, there were 5 cameras recording and on disc 3 is each minute of all of the footage captured from all 5 sources. The 4th disc is a compilation of 7 remastered concerts from 1976, using multiple angles and the best possible audio including soundboard recordings to bring the fans 7 complete to near complete concerts for your collection in one disc. To make the disc even better, each concert has its own chapters for each song making it a very enjoyable experience to watch these concerts in their completed remastered form, and skip to your favorite songs. This set shows footage from 43 Concerts and is the DEFINATIVE collection of 1976 8mm films, all derived from their original sources.

EID Presents "The Complete Phoenix Over Tennessee Performance"

This new dvd from EID contains the complete performance from Elvis' opening Tour Show for 1976. The sound has been synched with the excellent audience recording heard on the cd "Phoenix Over Tennessee." Elvis was not moving like he used to, but his voice was still incredible. On this night, Elvis has almost an entirely different band (including drummer, piano, keyboards, ect..) and as a result, all of the songs are played different than normal. You will notice a lot of the songs that are usually sung at a rapid pace were slowed down considerably on this night with Elvis clearly singing each and every word. Highlights from this show include Until It's Time For You To Go, the very first live version of Hurt, the first on tour version of America The Beautiful (aside from the NYE '75 show), and Burning Love (which is not found on the cd).
Recorded live at the Freedom Hall, Johnson City/Tennessee, March 17, 1976. 2001 Theme, See See Rider, I got A Woman/Amen, Love Me, You Gave Me A Mountain, Tryin' To Get To You, ASll Shook Up, Teddy Bear/Don't Be Cruel, Until It's Time For You To Go, Hurt, Polk Salad Annie, Introductions/What'd I say, And I Love You So, How Great Thou Art, Love Me Tender, Let Me Be There, America The Beautiful, Burning Love (incomplete), Heartbreak Hotel, Hound Dog, Hawaiian Wedding Song, Mystery Train/Tiger Man, Can't Help Falling In love, Closing Vamp, Announcements.

"EID Presents Elvis - The Complete New Year's Eve Performance"
All Elvis fans have seen bits and pieces of this historical show from one source or another. For the first and only time, this magical show is now available to all Elvis fans and collectors alike with each and every single song Elvis sang at this concert in beautiful quality! With the help of STAR, FTF, and EID we finally get to see the real footage of all songs including Blue Suede Shoes, Hound Dog, Unchained Melody, and Rags To Riches! An EID Double Feature: Love Letters From Nevada / Unchained In Hollywood '77

This DVD contains 2 great performances, shot 2 months apart, and the diffewrences in the shows are major. The Love Letters show has been remastered with the master audio, not the bootlegs cd, so the sound is more clear than any release of this show ever. The running time on this show is 37 minutes. Highlights are If You Love Me, Let Me Know, America, Bridge Over Troubled Water, What Now My Love (Spoken Version), and a phenomenal How Great Thou Art. The 2nd show on this dvd also runs 37 minutes and it is of the Hollywood, FL concert, Elvis' first concert after the New Year's Eve show. While Elvis put on a lot of weight in between the 2 months, his voice is still as powerful as ever. The video have been remastered in top quality. The audio is again better than on any release we've ever hear. Unfortunately, it is not nearly as great as the Love Letters audio, you can still understand everything Elvis says and sings. Highlights include If You Love Me, You Gave Me A Mountain, My Way, Love Letters, Funny How Time Slips Away, and a great complete version of Unchained Melody.

EID Presents "Shining In Birmingham"

This DVD contains the complete mind-blowing performance running 1 hour and 4 minutes. 4 different camera angles are used as well as a newly remastered version of the concert from the soundboard creating the ultimate archive of this magical night. All songs he sang are featured including Fairytale, Its Now or Never (Using the real version, not the 77 version), Polk Salad Annie, a complete version of Early Morning Rain, Hurt, For The Good Times, First TIme Ever I Saw Your Face, and Unchained Melody.

EID Presents "The Complete 2nd Night In Binghampton 1977"

The sound has been synched with the excellent sounding audience recording heard on the cd "Second Night" and all songs are complete. Includes rare opening acts, Pre-show announcements, The complete show including Heartbreak Hotel, Bridge Over Troubled Water, and a fantastic Unchained Melody which ends with Elvis karate chopping the piano keys. When the show concludes and Elvis leaves the stage, you get to see Elvis and his entourage go backstage to his dressing room.

Elvis - The Complete New Year's Eve Performance
All Elvis fans have seen bits and pieces of this historical show from one source or another. For a while, we had a good release in Rockin' New Year's Eve, but we still suffered with some footage so fuzzy and color-bled that it hurt our eyes just to watch. As an added treat, all footage has been magnificently restored from the original films for optimum results making this by far the most complete and best looking release yet.
As if that was not enough, the bonus features on this dvd include Elvis Live In Birmingham (45 minutes Remasterd by FTF), Elvis Live In Atlanta (42 minutes Remastered by FTF), Footage and camera angles not used in the NYE show, and a photo slideshow of the December 1976 Tour, Totalling this DVD to approximately 3 hours of pure Elvis excitement documenting the December 1976 Tour.

Elvis - "I'll Be There-That's The Way It Should Be 2"
Once Again, we have another phenomenal DVD from the STAR Label, and they just keep getting better! This is the 2nd installment of I'll Be There, and it does not fail to please. Wonderful quality on picture and sound make this another must-have dvd for all Elvis fans.

Elvis - STAR Presents "A New Year For Elvis" DVD

Finally includes Rags To Riches.

Elvis - STAR Presents "Hollywood Elvis 3 - Hawaiian Elvis" DVD
STAR brings us their third installment of the Hollywood Elvis series, and this one focuses on Elvis' Hawaiian movies. Beautiful color and editing, all videos are done in an MTV-style setting like the previous Hollywood Elvis dvds and 1st, 2nd, 4Ever and Born To Rock.

STAR Productions Presents "Elvis '68" DVD
All of the magic and excitement STAR brought to us in I'll Be There, Through My Eyes, and Love Coming Down has now been added in the newest release, "Elvis '68." Col. Parker did not want Elvis to do a rock special in a black leather outfit, but rather a Christmas Special with Christmas music. Eventually he let Elvis do what he did best, but Parker made sure that the public would at least see the only tamest versions of the songs he sang showing a nervous, yet cool side of Elvis. What STAR has done here is they have created the Alternate 68 Special in that all of the performances are completely different than the standard performances we have all seen, and in many cases, much wilder and crazier moves are performed. This is the Alternate special aimed at the true fans. Amazing quality and sound.

ELVIS - A Legendary Performer
A great collection of rare Elvis footage from the 50's - 70's. Some of this footage has been seen on the internet, but not in near this good of quality. It has fan-shot footage from the 50's, complete and unseen press confrerences and interviews from the 60's, Rare newsreel footage from the late 60's, and some very rare live 70's footage including some great quality footage from the 1970 Houston Astrodome shows. -Side Note-The maker thought this footage was from '74, and not '70- and ends with a touching tribute to Charlie Hodge.

Elvis Presley At The 1962 Worlds Fair
Very good dvd containing never before seen digitally remastered 8mm flims of the making of It Happened At The Worlds Fair. A must for all collectors.

Elvis The Concert Tokyo
This is the best and most complete footage of Elvis The Concert shot from the Audience. Also has fantastic sound as well.

Elvis - "I'll Be There" - That's The Way It Should Be 2 DVD Set
Once Again, we have another phenomenal DVD from the STAR Label, and they just keep getting better! This set gets the same fantastic treatment that "Elvis On Tour - Through My Eyes" set for the TTWII outtakes, and contains 50 complete songs with the absolute best picture and sound quality I have ever seen from these outtakes. This two disc set is now replacing most of my TTWII dvds, as it is just that good. A must for all Elvis Fans!

Elvis - "Elvis In Concert - Love Coming Down" 2 DVD Set
STAR astonishes again by giving EIC the same treatment of "Elvis On Tour - Through My Eyes" set and the "I'll Be There - That's The Way It Should Be" set. This is the special that the fans should have seen. Contains the best sound ever, and the picture quality and color is that I have never seen before. The bonus section is a tear jerker as we are treated to a brand new MTV-Style video of Lisa Marie's heartfelt tribute to Elvis with "Nobody Noticed It." In addition to that, some very depressing, yet historical newscasts from August 16, 1977 and August 17, 1977 are included (in crystal clear quality, not seen on any other release) with some very rare footage of the final ride in the hearse. Then we are treated to a fantastic video tribute of "I'm Leavin'" and a few of Elvis' best 1977 reditions of Little Darlin', If You Love Me Let Me Know, Unchained Melody, and My Way taken from the April 1977 tour. This is yet another Must-have DVD for all true Elvis fans and collectors.

Elvis - "On Stage With Elvis" 2 DVD Set
From the same makers of "The Making of On Tour" comes this latest fantastic dvd containing both of the performances Elvis gave on August 12, 1970 (Dinner and Midnight Shows). This set runs for 125 minutes, so both performances are complete with great sound and quality.

TTWII - August 4, 1970 Rehersal Remastered

TTWII Out Takes 3 DVD Set - 10 hours
Everyone knows about these dvds by now, and they also know that it should not have been put on 11 or more dvds. This is a 3 disc set with all 11 of the best hours of the footage. You'll see 4 hours of rehersals and 6 hours of live perfromances. Let me pre-warn you, this is not a professional movie like TTWII Special Edition, this is the rough cut of the material. At times the sound gets low, and other times its fed in so loud that distortion is present. No one else is telling you this before you buy. However, for the true Elvis collector, this is the mecca of all live footage. E is just amazing in this set. Biggests highlights are Opening Night, during Patch it Up, he falls to the floor and lays there till he's ready to finish the song. Also you get to see the show with the Red Ladder suit and see Elvis sing "Strangers In The Crowd" for the only time.

EOT Out Takes DVD 90 mins.
